Color Combos
I saw a blade silver with blue interior. Looked real sharp. Has anyone seen a black with blue. I'm buddies with Tom Jr at Macmulkins and he said no way. I think it would look great. Like to see one before I order it. Jeff.

Corvette .com, GS build page doesn't seem to let you build that combo Black exterior with Blue napa interior, not sure if override option (D30) would help in getting a not allowed combo.Cancelled Sterling Blue looks great with Twilight napa blue interior that was my second combo choice, there are a few on lots.

The online configurator isn't the final authority on options, but according to it you cannot have Twilight Blue on a black car. You can only have Twilight Blue on White, Admiral Blue, WGG, and Blade Silver. Tension Blue (the bright blue) is only available on the WGG special edition cars.

absolutely agree. If you can get red why not blue? Silly.
I also have a funny feeling chevy will offer some awesome matte paint job options next year. Which at a minimum should be an option on Z06 and ZR1 (if that's what it is).

Can't figure out why GM allows some combo's and not others , I' not talking about wacky combos. You can get a 2017 GS black exterior with Adrenaline red but not Spice Red even if your willing to pay for 3lt and for Spice Red package, Hmm Black and Red, but not Black and Red. In 16 you could have gotten Black exterior with Twilight Blue in ZO6 but not Stingray, Hmm Black and Blue, but not Black with Blue.

I'm wondering what that one guy was thinking ordering a 2015 Z06 Daytona Orange with Twilight Blue interior. 
OP, If Tommy says it can't be done, I'm betting it's a no go. But, I'm with you, everyone else. I think it would be a beautiful combo.

So it can be done with the color over ride, that makes sense. I guess he doesn't want to chance that it might not sell. I think it would, but dealers have to go with what they know will. Are ya gonna order the car?

As said above, it seems like D30 Color Combo Override is available for that color. It could be that on resale, it may have a more limited audience, which also applies to new-car sale if OP backs out of deal and dealer has it in inventory.

I think it could look good, depending on the shade of blue. Still would like to see one with that color combo.
