Yep, though if you get the SmartTop controller from Mods4Cars you can program it to put the windows back up automatically after the top has lowered. It also raises or lowers the top with one touch of the key fob or dashboard button so you don't have to hold the button the entire time - highly recommended.

WindRestrictors do work, I've had them in other cars. Your choice, but price shouldn't be one of them. Most parts on the vette are expensive.

I'm interested but when I tried to look it up I get the blurb that it is not now available for the 2017, http://www.mods4cars.com/blog/smartt...7-coming-soon/

Sounds like something I would want alright as I'm tired of holding down the button.

Top down windows down...unless the wife starts crying about her hair (somewhere around 70mph) or If I need to take a call...besides that let the wind flow !! Enjoy the day my friends !

I am very satisfied with my top down driving and think GM got it right.

Oh, yeah! I'm virtually bald so I must wear something or get cooked. I got a red beret from Paris Hats in San Antonio. It has a very small bill and won't blow off. I have several cowboy hats and would prefer them, but it's a matter of being practical for the circumstances. I'd hate to lose my Stetson on some highway.

I understand. I too would hate to lose a Stetson. Of course, I would need to find one I like, that fits... So, until then I wear my cheap wool cowboy hat wannabe.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I've put very few miles on the new vert and none of them were while wearing my hat. Maybe this weekend.

Default Wind Restrictor

Needed "wind restrictor" when my driving buddy eats burritos and downs a few Pabst Blue Ribbons....

I just purchased a WindRestrictor for my 2017 grand sport. Super easy to install and it really cuts down on the wind. I got the tinted version and I think it looks awesome

Its a personal preference thing
