Various color threads got me thinking just how different everyone's color preferences are. (For the record I think that's a good thing.) While there are many threads on favorite color or second choice, I think a stack rank of all the colors would be interesting. Here's mine, from favorite to least favorite.
1. Arctic White
2. Admiral Blue
3. Torch Red
4. Racing Yellow
5. Black
6. Sterling Blue
7. Black Rose
8. Long Beach Red
9. Blade Silver
10. Watkins Glen Gray
Curious what other people's ranks look like. If you could stick to the existing colors--I want to try to do some stats on the data if enough people reply.
Hhmm. Mine is NRB, which they don't make any more.
Of the current colors, today, that would own and maintain (as opposed to I like a lot, but wouldn't put up with the maintenance, like black for example) I'd prolly go:
1. Blade Silver
2. Torch Red
3. Admiral Blue
4. Racing Yellow
5. Arctic White
6. Watkins Glen Gray
7. Long Beach Red
8. Black Rose
9. Sterling Blue
10. Black
1. Black
2. Torch Red
3. Admiral Blue
4. Watkins Glen Gray
5. Blade Silver
6. Long Beach Red
7. Sterling Blue
8. Black Rose
9. Arctic White
10. Racing Yellow
1. Sterling Blue
2. Watkins Glen Gray
3. Blade Silver
4. Admiral Blue
5. Arctic White
6. Black
7. Black Rose
8. Torch Red
9. Long Beach Red
10. Racing Yellow
My preferred color is no longer available, of the "existing" colors (FYI, Sterling Blue is no longer available):
1. Admiral Blue
2. Long Beach Red
3. Torch Red
4. Sterling Blue
5. Black Rose
6. Racing Yellow
7. Blade Silver
8. Watkins Glen Gray
9. Black
10. Arctic White
I find the all too common car colors of "shades of gray" - from white to silvers to black as boring.
If you want to gather reliable data on color choices, just use the GM production numbers that are published here all over the place.
If recall correctly, black, red, and white are routinely the most popular colors in terms of production, which means that's what dealers are ordering because that's what's most likely to sell.

Exactly. Production numbers only show 1st choice and it is not a free choice--people often buy what is available.
I want to see, for example, the histogram of how often white is #1, #2, etc. Yes geeky but I've done too much stats in my life to turn away now. Also, it is possible I'm looking for ways to pass the time before my AW gets built.
1. Racing Yellow
2. Admiral Blue
3. Black Rose
4. Watkins Glen Gray
5. Arctic White
6. Torch Red
7. Blade Silver
8. Black
9. Long Beach Red
10. Sterling Blue

We're talking colors on the C7, right? Otherwise, this thread would spin so far out of control and break down into discussions about which generation's version of blue was best, etc.
The (current C7... or else there'd be some love for LRG) color list to end all lists...
1. Watkins Glen Gray
2. Blade Silver
3. Admiral Blue
4. Long Beach Red Metallic
5. Black Rose Metallic
6. Black
7. Corvette Racing Yellow
8. Sterling Blue
9. Torch Red
10. White
I think I should like white more, but when I see a white C7, it just doesn't move the needle. Once summer rolls around, maybe I'll wish I had gotten white when it gets really HOT.
Strange how some popular colors are dropped following year.
all in eye of beholder. Nothing looks as classy ir elegant as black.
but it's a second marriage and unless it's your only chore to deal with, a nightmare for someone with ocd.
bought a new black sierra for the wife. Opti coated it and so be it. Can't do another black toy. Never wanted to drive it cause it was an hour prep before putting back in garage lol.
Personally, I've always loved Torch Red and it's usually always my go-to color.
However, for 2017:
Admiral Blue Metallic
Black Rose Metallic
Both colors seem to be a love-hate relationship with customers. People seem to either love them or hate them.
The deciding factor for me was seeing both of them in the sun; especially the Black Rose Metallic.
You almost need sunglasses when looking at an Admiral Blue Metallic C7 in direct sunlight, and the Black Rose Metallic looks wet and really pops with the amount of metallic flake in the paint.

OK, but as has been noted time and time again, this is quite a different group from the general population.
