Hi guys.. I just got my new c7 A/8 and I don't know what mode it's better for street race.. if I want to do a 30 roll in what mode I have to be.. sport or track? Thanks
You're gonna get a Lot of heat for the street racing comment... Anyway Track mode would have the best performance followed by Sport mode.
I'd also put the car into manual shift setting and down shift with the paddles as low a gear it gives you access too. Then when you go WOT put the car right into Drive. That will start the car at the best RPM and once you through it into D let the car make perfect shifts.
I'd suggest you only do your racing on a track and not the street.

Please describe your car and where you live so I can be on the look out and avoid you. To say this is one of the stupidest posts on so many levels......... But please read, practice and try to have at least some common sense before you kill someone.

No need to put the car in manual mode, just leave it in drive, downshift with the paddles to obtain the best gear, and punch it. This way it takes one more thing to do out of the equation.
Definitely leave the nannies engaged, they're smarter and much quicker at getting you out of trouble than you are.

If you do that then you'll have to up shift every gear manually. If you start by get the lowest gear in M mode then go right into drive after WOT you don't have to worry about hitting the rev limiter or shifting to early, the car does it all.
Thank you guys.. the ones that helps.. and the ones that not. I was asking because my friend with his mustang 5.0 wanted to race me.. but I just bought the car and don't know how to properly race it.. but we already race and I got the win.. TC off.. manual and sport mode. Thanks

Question: if you are not using "manual" mode and setting it at "drive", doesn't that mean the AFM is engaged and V8/V4 is working?
