Hi guys, I finally purchased my first Corvette and had a question. When I was buying the car the salesman tried to tell me that mine was a car that GM didn't make too many of.. Is there a way to find out how many cars were built like mine? Admiral Blue Convertible, Blue top, Light Grey interior, 3LT, Z51, Automatic.

Sounds gorgeous-do you have any pics? Probably didn't make too many as the combo is a little out of the mainstream-but to me it is eye candy and would love to see some pics.
As can be seen in the stats in the link chrisr74 posted, Chevy does not release statistics on option combinations. At the NCM Bash they do show exterior/interior combinations, but that's it as far as combinations go.

Going to shoot some tomorrow and will get them posted as soon as possible

I'm not sure what model year your car is. You can see from the production numbers that there weren't a lot of 2016 Admiral Blue Corvettes made (hundreds, but way lower than other colors). Essentially it is a 2017 color released a bit early, so in the grand scheme of things there weren't many 2016 AB's. I had no idea about this, and neither did my salesperson, until I got home and poked around. I'm not sure that will matter once more 2017's are made, though.
A blue on blue convertible does sound quite unique, though. Probably a pretty rare color combo.
I suppose it is always nice to have a more unique car. I guess it matters $-wise in about 30-40 years when people go crazy over assessing values for unique optioned cars, but few of us will keep our cars that long (just hope to live that long!).
Ain't that the truth. Corvettes are pretty unique to begin with. I'd say get what you like although i would never buy a green, brown, tan shaded car. Talk about losing value. Guy around the way trying to sell an old 90's something vette vert. Nice car, 350, 4 speed but green. No takers.
In his day and age the more unique the car as far as options and color combinations usually translates to a less desirable car. Otherwise it would be a more popular combo to order.
Would it be worth more 50 years from now? I seriously doubt it.

Corgi,
The rain finally stopped long enough to take a few snaps.
