The week is here! Hoping to get an email sooner than later that my car was built. I don't have an exact build date because I am not doing the Museum delivery.

If you are doing a museum delivery you can get this info when you call the museum to schedule your pickup date. They need a certain amount of time from the actual day of production and they can't surprise you after the TPW with a "OK it's built, now buy expensive airlines tickets!" They told me my build day was 4/18 on 4/3. From there we had to go to 5/2 as a pick up date as the ideal date would have been during the bash but they don't do pick ups then.

Just got word that my z06 has just been born.. VIN issued!
I also asked my dealer if turning on Onstar at some point is doable to track it out west. He mentioned they cant do that? The reason he gave is someone needs to push the blue button?? In any event, its built and hopefully will be on the way to Colorado!

yup, almost at the finishing line here boys. Super excited...
On the onstar issue - my sales guy isn't one from the big 3, I'm hoping the rest of my experience turns more positive; after all, I'm spending well over 80K!
