I have an M7 in my Z51, but I have an A8 in my GMC Sierra 1500 with 6.2, which is the same basic transmission used in the Corvette -right.
I did have some initial problems with my A8, but brought it back a couple times early and it was corrected -now with about 18k miles it is still fine.
We bought my wife a Cadillac XT5 and I figured the A8 would be a similar GM transmission, but it is awesome and with 700 miles has felt flawless.
I looked on the window sticker and it indicates that the transmission is made in Japan -is this another window sticker mistake like with the Corvette engine?
While your truck uses a similar version of the transmission in the C7, your XT5 is transverse engine/Front wheel drive and uses a completely different transmission.
