Default Dual mode exhaust

Does anyone know why they relocated the dual mode exhaust flippers on the C-6's on the two inside exhaust tips to the exhaust pipes down from the headers on all C-7's?????????

I think what you are describing are not the NPP valves, but the AFM valves. If a C7 has NPP it will have 4 exhaust valves. 2 at the outer exhaust tips (the NPP valves) and 2 further upstream (the AFM valves). The AFM valves are to keep it from sounding like crap when in V4 mode. I'll try to round up some pics that shows all of this.

NPP valves are after the muffler, just before the exhaust tips. AFM valves are in front of the muffler.
