One thing I hate is when people do not know how to get in and out of my car properly. I'm spending 60,000 dollars on a car I want it to look the best! Sometimes I catch my friends/family getting out of my car and sometimes kicking the lower door panels when they get out. Now I have a few scuffs that I tried to get out with some interior cleaner but it really doesn't work. Does anyone else have any recommendations?
Not sure what color interior you have but I have had some success with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It took a while and a lot of elbow grease. You can also post this same question in the Car Care section of the forum. There are a lot of detailers that hang out there and you will at least get more helpful advice than your getting here. Good luck
I've had good results using Kiwi black shoe polish.
Just put a smudge of it on a shop rag, and rub gently in the direction of the scratch. Buff it off, and apply again until the scratch is concealed. It isn't a perfect fix, but only you will no it's still there.
Some of the forum vendors sell plastic panels that cover the areas that get scuffed. Of course, the usual hard liners will poo-poo them but I and a few others like them. They are not terribly expensive, and super easy to install, fit great, stay put, come in either black or clear, and when they get beat up are cheap enough to just trash and replace.
they also make a similar product for the door sill which I have tried. If you're looking to protect the door sill just cover that with xpel. I've tried the plastic sill protector and it rubbed and caused damage. The above link is for the lower door protector which I'm using and seems to work well.
