This is one of the few "mods" I want to do to my ordered GS. I've seen posts here were people removed them but they leave behind a mark on the visor. I'm more inclined try something like this:

https://www.corvettemods.com/C7-Corv...ir_p_9824.html

That said, I may remove them if I can be convinced it looks better than covering them.

I have used a hair dryer on two Vettes. It only takes a few minutes to heat the stickers. Heat the edge, start peeling up the sticker and slowly pull it back as you keep the hair dryer moving along as you peel. Some glue might remain which can be removed with Goo Gone type stuff.

I bought the matching fabric overlays. You can see them but they don't draw your attention, so you don't really notice them.

Mine are suede, and they came off easily, with no marks. People seem to have more problem with the fabric visors. I didn't even need any heat or Goo-Gone.

Can I suggest that you pull them off, and if you don't like them, then buy some stickers to cover. You have nothing to lose.

Fast forward to 2047....hoards of people posting on corvette forum trying to do a full on restoration of their C7 are asking if anyone makes reproduction warning stickers because the previous owner took them off....

Mine peeled right off my suede shades too. I dunno, it seems pretty hit or miss. Good luck!

Mine didn't come off. Actually started to remove the suede. Ended up getting suede covers from a place in Michigan. You really have to look to see them.

Ya think people still feel safe with those "important" stickers removed? Snicker.

These are what I got. Bought them off Ebay. Work great and much better looking than the factory safety labels.

As far a stickers go, the ugliest one I (we) have to deal with is the big yellow inspection sticker in the middle of the windshield. You would think with all the readers and crap they have now that you wouldnt need all these "official" stickers. Ahh

I tried everything to remove the glue residue, but the stickers had been in place for 3 years and the glue would not come off without damaging the fabric

I used the fabric covers together with the flag logos. It's not a perfect match, but is much better than the air bag decals.

First pic is with camera flash so you can see detail:

This is under natural light:

No ugly window decals in California! Middle of the windshield? Are you in Virginia?
