I doubt I would be able to clear the front spliter of the GS. Are you GS guys having rubbing issues?
No issues whatsoever. My 2014 base 3LT scraped all the time. My GS hasn't scraped once yet, and it goes over speed bumps without issues. My 2014 scraped over speed bumps as well. I truly believe my GS is higher than my 2014 base. Wouldn't worry. Just enter and exit sideways.

I have the very expensive CF front splitter and it rubs on just about everything. I can't take my car up to TN home in the summer because it would never get up my steep drive!
Photos of my drive... two looking up and one kooking down?

Did your 2014 have mag ride? I wonder if it has to do with Mag Ride equipped or not. I think they sit a little higher.
If you are dragging backing up but not so much coming into the driveway, you just need to start turning in the driveway so your wheels are closer to straight when you reach the transition AND you are at enough of and angle where one tire touches before the other one. Ideally, it you could enter near parallel to the curb, you would not drag at all.
ie you need to back out the same as you enter here but at an even sharper angle....use the full width of the driveway
^^^^ Yeah problem is I live on dead end street so have to back out opposite way I come in. But thanks for the tip, I'm used to it now and it really doesn't bother me.
He needs to take a different angle of approach into the driveway. More of a sideways entrance with a late turn into the driveway. I have no problems. Remember your teachers telling you that Calculus was good for something.
If you are in the portland area i have a guy who can get any lower spoiler damage fixed without reporting it to carfaxx so if you ever sell it it won't show up and youll be looking good as new send me a pm " or what they call a private message" through this website and i will give you his number.
I have a friend with a fairly steep driveway who got it recontoured as part of his sinkhole remediation. Presto, no more scrape! Might be worth checking into the cost if you're going to be there a while.
My driveway is like yours with the street on a slight downhill. I go out forward and turn slightly left leaving the driveway until the front wheels leave the drive , then turn right.
Going into the driveway, turn left straighten the wheel after both wheels are on driveway turn wheels to left and continue on.
I have the base C7 not lowered
Every time I back out of my garage. This August it will be two years. I would have thought enough of the plastic would have scrubbed off by now that I would stop hearing the scrape! Not yet!

Haha I thought the same thing! And we both got ours cars same time Aug 2015!
If I had a steep driveway I would get an airbag suspension so I could raise the car up a few inches when going into it and then when I'm back out on the road I could set it to a lower setting. Lots of exotic cars come with an adjustable height suspension (at least on the front) just for getting over speed bumps and steep driveways.
In an effort to save the plastic deflectors, my solution is the autozone door edge guards with 3M tape as I have the same issue as you OP. I've so badly wanted to drop my suspension using the factory bolts ever since I saw your video, but I'm terrified that I'll end up actually rubbing my bumper instead of the crappy plastic.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
