here's a tip for keeping the factory paint looking the same as when the car was first produced in the factorys plant. i like to use good ol' dish soap and water and throw a shot of diesel (in a shot glass) to the water bucket. you will think you just got out of a 6 hour detail session.

Actually, I don't use tire black....
I use Griot's Long-Lasting Tire Dressing. It's the best I've ever used on my tires and I've been keeping my tires clean and shiny for over 40 years and I've tried many, many products.
The shine lasts a long time and does not sling off onto the sides of the car. Goes on with foam applicator. I'm pretty sure you'd be pleased with the results. I really makes a difference in how the entire car looks.
