If you are having a problem with setting the seat for auto exit/entry take a look at the current thread running on the forum titled "Are C7 owners morons?"
It's an interesting (fun) thread that has kind of morphed into "how to set your auto seats etc."
The manual is hard to figure out and only works sometimes for some people.
Check out YouTube video by ginger on how to set C7 auto seats. Works great.

Are you using the "American" entry technique of putting one leg in and then trying to twist your body in and sit down, or the "European" method of sitting first and then swinging your feet in? European works great for me, especially since I'm 6'5".

You will find a technique that works for you.

If someone watches me haul my fat *** out of my corvette I just look at them and think
to myself, "Look at that idiot driving that Prius."

I already have everything all the way back and up so exit can get any better. Sit and swing seems to be easiest because the one leg idea i cant easily get under steering wheel.

Aside from auto exit, when existing I put my right arm out and hook it around such that the my tricep is against the roof and use that to leverage my way out.

Since I'm American I use the American entry - stick one foot in, turn slightly to the left and aim my *** for the seat.

After seeing this on some random "back pain" video, this technique has greatly reduced my back issues.

Just had my right knee replacement. The day I came home from the surgery, I just had to see if I could manage getting in and out of the C7. Although the leg was a little stiff, I was able to do it easily. Right leg in first, sit down and then pull in the left leg. Been doing this ever since. Easy, least.

After owning my 2015 2lt base for 2 years I finally set the seat exit. I get in rear end first then put my legs in. Bolster on seat back started to wear and was replaced by dealer at no charge.

Hope your knee heals quickly and well.

My cousin is a vette fanatic. Got hooked with a '57fi and kept in the fold since. He's had a hip replacement, and the way he has to get in their C7: crawls in; puts both knees on the drivers seat and both hands on the passenger seat; and works his hips/legs into position. Works well unless his wife is sitting in the passenger seat. He might argue that's even better.

For me, the best way is to put the right leg in, sort of 'plop' my rear into the seat, and pull my left leg in.

OK . I'm a large guy. Getting in is no problem. Getting out I must hook my right elbow around windshield post and proceed to use it to help me out of the car. Works Great. They tell me the windshield posts on the vet are as strong as a roll bar.

I also have a Honda Accord When I measure the seat height on the Honda seat compared to the Corvette, the Honda seat is only 1 in. higher and I have been using this same method for at least the past 10 years.

All I can say is give it a try and Good Luck.

It's really quite logical. You open the door and slightly bend and place the largest part of my body, my *** in first, duck my head and swing my legs around. Getting out is the exact opposite. I'm a big guy but it's really not that difficult.
