Default Order number

I placed an order with Kerbeck for a new Z06 on the 2nd of April and am wondering when an order number gets emailed to me so that I can begin tracking the progress.

Any insight ??

The order number is assigned when the order in submitted to GM, so I'm sure if you reach out they can get it for you! Congrats on your new Z06

I'm not sure how your dealer does it , but my dealer emailed/ text me a copy of GM order work bench to verify order info was correctly submitted. If your dealer sent that to you if so your order number is on that forum.

Kerbeck doesn't enter an order UNTIL they have an allocation to match it to. So you don't sit with an order number at code 1100 for weeks. Your order will go almost immediately to 2000 because they will have an allocation when they enter it.

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess I'll give Kerbeck another week or so then I'll reach out to them if I don't hear anything in the mean time.

I'm not at the office today, but I think I already ordered your car and it at 3000. If not, it will be at 2000 this Saturday.

Send me an email and Ill check first thing in the AM.

I got mine from Kerbeck within 1 1/2 weeks of ordering. However I was proactive, email the salesman and ask (see above post and Dave responded.)

Once you have the order number you can go to https://www.chevrolet.com/contact/chat

Give them your order number and ask for the status, as often as you'd like. They will look it up and give you the status number and finally expected production week:

1100-Order Accepted-"Preliminary Order Status" of VOMS (Vehicle Order Management System)
2000-Order sent to the Placed Tab of VOMS
2001-Order generated to dealer
2005-Order replaced with GM Prospec order
2050-Order changed
2500-Order sent to production, preferenced
3000-Order accepted by production control
3100-Order available to sequence(Target Production Week becomes more stable).
3300-Order selected for production by plant
3400-Order broadcasted for production
3800-Vehicle produced
4150-Vehicled invoiced to dealer
4200-Vehicle shipped
5000-Vehicle delivered to dealer
6000-Vehicle delivered to customer

Have found one issue. Mine was built Tuesday a week ago. That is when I asked via Chat and was told congratulations and given my VIN number. However even Kerbeck salesman said it's difficult to follow from that point. Chat can't help. Tried OnStar as I recalled someone saying they could activate your car and you can check location with an app.

Got the app but having difficulty and OnStar could not activate the car! Guess I'll just have to wait until it pops up at the courtesy delivery dealer!
