Politically incorrect?

Also, when women start giving the same special treatment to men as they seem to demand from men, then I'll get on board. Meantime, look up chivalry and ask the question "What is the woman's role in chivalry?". The answer is they have no role whatsoever. IOW they get all of the benefits and have to do absolutely nothing for them. Only a fool or a loser would sign up for that deal!
* Actually chivalry historically was very, very different to what most people view it as today which is only the "be nice to women" part. Believing in fairness I'll be as nice to a woman as I would be to a man. Meantime chivalry has a lot to do with gawd for which I'm an atheist and country for which I'm an individual.

From the sound of the post above, I think he maybe did fall out on his head!
By the same token, since these are rules set up by property owners, and not laws, the restrictions aren't going to be enforced by police. You won't get a ticket for parking in one of those spaces. But if the property has warning signs that say violators will be towed, they likely have the legal right to do that.
This will vary, to some extent, by state, but the above is accurate for the last couple of states I've lived in.
A private property owner does not have the right to inflict force on anybody else. It's government that has the sole legitimate authority to use force on citizens - not private property owners. A private property owner can enlist the government to force another citizen off of their private property (i.e. trespassing) but they do not have the right to tow your car against your will. They need to invoke the government and assert private property rights (i.e the right of trespass). And while private property owners have the right to eject anybody they don't like, doing so because of a non-law will just make you look foolish.
Look expectant mothers I understand have some challenges. But it it not my responsibility to provide them comfort. Having a kid is a lifestyle choice unlike say being handicapped from birth and it's why handicapped parking is protected by law and expectant mother's are not. Your decision to have a kid should not burden or enslave me. It's your choice - live it with it - but it is not my responsibility!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Reminds me of two quotes:Never argue with a fool; onlookers may not be able to tell the difference. —Mark Twain
Don’t argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience. —Greg King

For max efficiency including purchase price a base model Corolla, Cruze or similar compact is probably about as good as you can get. Subcompacts aren't much more efficient especially as they aren't as aerodynamic on the highway. Diesel Cruze (more expensive than base model) gets well over 50 mpg on highway.
As a highly streamlined and relatively light weight vehicle, C7 actually is quite efficient.
There's no legal basis for that sign; someone is just trying to make himself feel good.

I'm a big law abider and a Corvette owner though I also believe in civil disobedience if the law is unjust.
How do they define low emitting and fuel efficient. That's very subjective. My C6 gets 32 on the highway. I consider that fuel efficient.
