Not sure I received an order #Yet-was in a rush today but I ordered my 74th New Corvette. Even though it's probably old news but my first was a 1965 Satin Silver Convertible-stick(300 HP) with every option and paid $4200.00. My dad may he rest in Peace wanted me to have "my head examined" to have paid that kind of money for a 2 Seater..
Well my Love Affair with the Corvette has never wained and with each and just about every year I still get excited to Order a new one...."

I have been Blessed with great life- a wonderful and understanding Family and importantly Good Health and the ability to keep buying my Dream Car.
I never get tired of driving my Corvettes and even more important I have met many great Corvette enthusiast along the way. Many have become Friends and I only can hope and pray my remaining years are as Good as my past ones.
I would be remiss if I did not THANK GM FOR SUCH A GREAT CAR- Dealers like Atantic Chevrolet in Bay Shore and just as important all my GM FRIENDS I HAVE MET ALONG THE WAY--- My most Favorite and the man I call my THIRD SON HEADS THE LIST "HARLAN CHARLES"who has had to put up with my constant badgering for well over --15 Years.
Finally do not think I would ever forget the Corvette Museum AND great folks like LORI- SHANE ,GARY,SONNY AND EVERYBODY ELSE IN THAT WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION.. To many to Mention...

My wife and I are still enjoying the 2014 Lime Rock Green on Brownstone Z51 Coupe we bought from you in 2015. Not sure what number that was in your "collection", but we are certainly glad to have met you and appreciate your passion for all things Corvette!

1. Never had Yellow
2.Favorite-- Carbon Flash ZR1 with Red stripe on Tires ( presently owned by Rick Hendrick) in his Collection....
3. Favorite Interior the recent Brownstone by Far
4. Do NOT OWN OR HAVE ANY OF The 72 Corvettes- only have my 73rd
5. Shortest ownership when the ZR1 first came out for c6 I had taken possession of a ZO6 2 weeks prior....
A. Does not take into account in 1998 the purple and yellow pace car that I ordered - went to pick up and my Wife said "Bring that thing home and you can sleep in it in the Garage"
6. My Favorite Buyer- most of my cars sold privately and met a lot of great people but my one Deal with Rick Hendrick 6 years ago gave me a new Friend for Life.....
7. Never owned a Vette built prior to 1965 ...
8. Since 1984 have only missed 3 years and have not missed any since 95 and 1997.....(missed 96)
9. Paid over sticker once $5000.00 for ZR1
10. Gm did special order one for me and it was presented by John Fitzpatrick to me ( another GM friend). It was a c6 ZRI with a combination of graphics ....and design color combination..
11. Once ordered a C6 -- went to see it get built - saw another color combo on line I liked better and bought that..
ENOUGH BORING STUFF I SHOULD GET A LIFE.......

Hey Harvey, look familiar? My first was also a new '65 Silver Vert 300hp 4spd. My total Corvettes, 3 to date.


Check out the snow tires as it was my DD in the North East.

 

Your '65 at 4200 adjusted for inflation is now $33K. Good deal you made back then. I think you hold the title for most ever by an individual. Should get some kinda recognition for that. Hint hint mod.

So far I got you beat by one generation but I don't come even close to your 70 something. No contest.
