Any vert videos of interior takedown?
I have a new 2017 Z06 convertible that I will soon be hard-wire installing my ECM gear (… Valentine 1 Radar Detector), and perhaps front and rear facing cameras. To do so will require some dismantling of the center console; where I intend to install the concealed display. Being a proponent of “while you’rein the itis”, while I am “in there”, so to speak, I thought I might add some sound deadening material; think Dynamat and its brethren. So, I’ve been looking for videos of anyone who has already been down this road, or at least a video or two of dismantling the interior. Unfortunately, either my search criteria was lacking or no videos exist.
Is anyone aware of any videos like this? Perhaps a write-up or two?
Thanks in advance.

My suggestion would be to google companies that do interior parts and upgrades. They will have DIY videos related to changing etc the interior parts and panels. FWIW.

Insulation
Exoticvette.com sells a precut insulation kit which I installed in my 2015 Z51 conv. Great kit works well. They provide installation instructions with the kit, very detailed. Pics. of my car apart:

For the console, I used MGW:

Here's one removing the dash to put in a cf one:

This thing is awesome if you want to tap the mirror to power a dash cam:
Good luck!

Now that adapter is very interesting... I bought a couple-a add-a-circuit fuses for my hardwire, but that adapter has some possibilities.
Thank you.

THANK YOU for that link. That's some of the information I am looking for. I noticed too the link for replacing the steering wheel; also on my list.
