Cleaning headlight lens
How hard is it to clean the inside of the lens covers on the headlights and if it is even possible? I have '17 GS and the only complaint I have about the fit and finish is the inside of the headlight lenses. I did not notice until the first time I turn the headlamps on, but you can see smudges and dust. Apparently they were not cleaned before installing. If it's a difficult job, I may just talk with dealer, but if it is simple enough, I may just do myself and call it done.

If they're really bad maybe you can get your dealer to swap them under warranty.

It's just one of those things that it might be better to live with, unless it's really bad, then get them replaced under warranty.
BTW, if you want to fix them yourself, it can be a PITA. As mentioned, you have to remove the front bumper, which isn't too bad, but then you have to separate the lenses that are glued together. There are YouTube vids on this process... where they place them in an oven... GL.

Thanks for all the replies. Sounds like I definitely don't want to tackle and I would have concerns with dealer tearing into as well. It's not THAT bad, so I will live with.

^^^Good idea^^^^I think to some degree most headlight assemblies have a certain amount of dust or debris inside of them that you only see when they are on.
Best to leave something like that well enough alone.....

Interesting, I just noticed this too....only visible with light coming from certain direction, seems like a quality control issue, cause the whole assembly is 100% sealed, no?
