I have several post on this topic. 33 Runs and I have used launch control on just about all of them. I run 10.7's consistently with my 2015 Z06 M7. I love it.
So when shifting 1-2, it has to be a no lift shift correct? Otherwise the launch control is cancelled?
NLS (no lift shift) is irrelevant to launch control. NLS just allows you to continue in WOT without throwing your RPM's above the current state it is in when you do a shift. Launch control is only relevant to the Launch. The shift to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th are on you. I have a M7 and never come out of WOT. I just tap the clutch through the gears. Hope this helps

okaythen,
The manual says "release" the clutch. Dump, ease, transition, etc are your own interpretation. I can tell you from MY 33 runs (all with launch control) that upon WOT leveling out, 3rd light turns orange, I RELEASE the clutch..AKA DUMP.
****the ONLY TIME I ever jacked up my launch was the time I SLOWLY released the clutch on Launch Control. It made a horrible screeching sound and smelled like burnt clutch for hours.
Ron Fellows Teaches "release the clutch all at once". There are plenty of videos of them speaking through this and demonstrating the LC

I have a Z06 M7. With launch control when doing a no lift shift with WOT from 1st to 2nd, how do you keep from jumping sideways like I have seen on Youtube?
i've added an A&A supercharger on mine.whp 590.The stock tires need to go.I'm upgrading to rear tires 305/30/20.Hoping it will hook.Stay tuned.
Are you putting these on the stock rims? if so please post pics with results because I am in the same situation 2014 Z51 with A&A SC but I spin too much. I don't want to replace my stock powder coated rims and don't want to rub. Staying with stock wheels still gives me the sleeper look.

im putting the tires on stock Z-51 rims. Now I have stock 19 rear base rims,
and stock tires.I have been reading that the stock Z51 tires aren't going to do you justice.
I mean with the extra width i'm hoping I will get some traction.

Counter steer the car like driving on ice. You can find videos of guys drag racing the car and they don't spin off the track at 1-2 shift. It just spins a little and straightens out. The problem is when you react by lifting the throttle and hitting the brakes.

"jumping sideways" did he mean car going sideways?!
so NLS takes awhile to learn, and can be dangerous it seems, I have never tried it before.
would like to see some of those videos, what do I search for? z06 1/4?
jabeasley1 thanks

I have never shifted sideways more than enough to make me feel uncomfortable. Some tracks are not well prepared but my Mickey Thompson ET SS Drag radials hold up well.
** No lift shift is stressful learning like launch control. Sometimes its hard for our brains to push to WOT because we think we will hit redline, etc. It just takes some staging practice on a back road. NLS is the same way. I was VERY hesitant in the beginning to keep my foot on the throttle and just tap the clutch. After the 3rd or 4th time practicing, it's great! In theory, NLS shift just keeps the RPM from over revving when you go into the next gear so when you go into 2nd, you are maintaining rpms so there should be no traction break.
Just type in "Jeffrey Beasley Z06". You will see several videos I placed on there. 1 with a new ZL1 Camaro, one GT500, and 1 AutoX (with all nannies off drifting for fun). If nothing else, you can see and hear how fast and how much traction I have on the launch utilizing Launch Control.
2nd gear shift the rear went to the sides a little bit, that looked scary the first time I saw it. I got stock tires I guess I need to be careful 1st to 2nd and 3rd? shift smoothly I guess don't dump it into 2nd and 3rd? never had a car this powerful before :P
Did you do NLS for all of them? Heard it's about .1 faster than no NLS.
okaythen,

You think NLS is stressful with computers and rev limiters, try doing it (back in the day) when there were no rev limiters. I got really good at it, but that didn't make it any less stressful.

Old post. For NLS when you say just tap the clutch, how far do you press the clutch in? Not all the way?
