Default TC fluid difference

2015 stingray z51 had the A8 shudder issue. The dealer repaired the vehicle promptly according to PIP5337H.
The question I have is the TC was replaced along with the trans filter and fluid after flushing the lines.
The fluid they used was GM 19331925. I've read in this forum that the GM fluid number should be 19353429.

Should I question the dealer on this or are the two fluids basically the same?.

Barry, GM changes parts numbers at the drop of a hat. I don't know if they are the same, but this tidbit will get you back to the top and maybe someone will chime in that knows.

I can't help with the difference in these two fluids, but the -429 fluid is described as Mobil 1 HD low-viscosity ATF. My 2015 had the TC (-631) and fluid swap (-429) on Feb. 3rd and these were the latest part numbers for that fix. When was your TC job done?

The repair to my vette was just performed this week. I'm going by the dealer work order part list which shows 20.0 19331925 for trans fluid used after TC replacement, trans filter and line flush per PIP5337H.

i don't have a copy of the bulletin so I don't actually know what it delineates as fluid P/N to be used.

Mine shows 24 qts. of 19353429 fluid for the job and the invoice also references PIP5337H. I haven't been able to find a copy of this TSB, so I wonder which fluid and quantity is actually referenced in it. The sequence of the two fluid numbers would suggest -429 is a later reference, but who knows. Which TC# is shown on your invoice?
