Default 3M wrap

Last year I had my roof wrapped in the 3m carbon flash metallic 1080 was the number I believe. There some minor marks in the material but was assured that those would go away in the sun. Several weeks later I had the roof and the halo done. At the time we pointed out the issue that never went away. He replaced the hood stripe with new material and as of today replaced the hood. The marks almost look like stretch marks. I have been told its adhesive marks. They were extremely careful not to stretch the material past the point of no return. SO twice now we got bad material. This last time when he unrolled the material he didn't like the way it looked. He tried some heat and the what appeared like rub marks seemed to go away. I was told that this seems to be an issue with this material. I know several people have done this sort of thing with no problem reported. My installer was going to call 3M and see if there was an answer to the question.

I've had zero issue with my stinger hood stripe, roof or halo wrap. No absolutely no marks to speak of.

I did mine with the same stuff, only thing I didn't like about it is the fact that it doesn't have a protective film over it that you peel off. It just made it harder to squeegee without screwing it up. I used a felt wrapped squeegee but I could see how you'd mark it up easily. With that said, mine turned out really good.
