Default Who has ordered a 2018?

who all has a 2018 on order, what did you order, and what stage is your order in?

I have a silver/kalahari stingray 2LT on order. some conflicting info on order status, dealer says status is accepted by gm, gm says status is submitted but not yet accepted. everyone else in a weird limbo or do you have any real info yet? i saw one post saying he already had a tpw, lucky guy!

I used to have a 75 stingray about 7 years ago when i was in the service, a few unfortunate events caused me to lose it and im really anxious to get back into one . going nuts just trying to figure out if itll be this summer or if ill have to wait till winter so im just wondering where everyone else is at in their venture for a 2018 vette

I had my Spring oil change completed on my '14 Z51 a couple of weeks ago, saw the '17 GS's on the lot and decided I needed a GS again [initially traded a '10 GS for my '14].

Working with the dealers general manager to order an '18 after we come to an agreement on the trade difference.
Does anyone know the deadline for ordering an '18 and receiving it prior to the plant shutdown this summer?

I plan on ordering a Watkins Glen Gray vert, black interior, with 3LT and Carbon Flash GS stripes.

2018 GS 3LT, admiral blue, gray interior. I'm told by the dealer that there is an allocation for it and the TWP will be assigned on Tuesday 5/9.

Any ordering a 2018 in the Ceramic Matrix Gray color or whatever that's called? Beyond the Carbon 65 series, I think you make that color work in some pretty sick combinations. Probably better than the 65 in some instances.

where are you guys all ordering from? i am of the mind to cancel my order and switch to a different dealer. i feel like mine is being dishonest and has not received an allocation but they are telling me they have. from what i have looked up, if the dealer gets an allocation on Thursday and your car meets the constraints they are allowed to order within, you car gets accepted by gm that Tuesday and goes to production control after to get to 3000. since i am still at 1100 and have no options in my order i should have 0 constraints and the moment they get an allocation i should be going to 2000. they even told me at one point that it was at code *3000, accepted by gm and awaiting production week assignment. Then gm told me it was still at 1100 and yet to be accepted. just really getting annoyed with the either lack of honesty, communication, or knowledge the dealer is displaying.

It all varies since we order from different dealership and parts of the country. I can only vouch for my experience by saying that I did my order from George Matick out in Michigan. It was smoother than cat fur on a waxed marble floor. I think I asked 1 1/2 times about the order status: I asked once, and the second time, I had an Aero Kit question, and the dealer basically told me that the car was there already. About 7 1/2 weeks total, but I've read that April orders are being churned out a bit faster than my own.

I'm not sure who your dealer is or the dealership, but I've read many instances where the customer was steered down the wrong path (how to order the carbon fiber steering wheel insert on a GS, website options, etc). Not saying to cancel the order, but more information might provide more insight on a decision and what you're truly dealing with.

I am ordering a base lt2 stingray auto. its been on order for 3 weeks and still is at code 1100. they told me they had allocations for it. but since its still 1100 that means they arent using their allocations on it, or they dont have any allocations. no options means no constraints to the allocation. there is a thread on here from a couple years back where a dealer came on and explained exactly how the orders work. based on that, they arent being honest with me. and the fact that they told me the car was at 3000 then a week later gm told me its at 1100

MacMulkin. Order went in on a Tuesday (that is the order date for all C7's except Z06), which was an immediate status 2000 (because they had allocation and nothing is on constraint), and then went to 3000 that Thursday.
