Default Screeching noise

Had a very loud screeching sound which appeared to be coming from my front wheel. It ofcourse stopped when I brought it to the dealer. They said their is a bulletin to lubricate the brakes. Does this sound right.

Interesting, my 2014 developed a loud brake screech but only when backing out of my garage. Once it warms up it is quiet again. Maybe someone can give a clue...

Lubricate something that uses friction to do its work? That does not seem smart. I think there was a TSB where they were cleaning them with brake fluid...or something similar.

There was a TSB or PI on this issue dont recall which, but its in this forum somewhere....

Something about copper grease between the pad and caliper

Intermittent problem, and only helps for a while
