Tow Hooks

Does anyone know for sure if the 2016 Stingrays have the receiver to screw in the front (or rear) tow hooks?

I can't seem to get an answer from either the Chevrolet or Cadillac dealer!!!

The tow hook is available from GM as a $100 option. The special hook is needed to tow the car and does not come with vehicle. Be aware you also need the special funnel to add gasoline should you run out since it is a two stage funnel and a regular funnel will not be able to add gas. Just saw this all this at the tech class at Spring Mountain.

My 2016 has the receiver's for the tow hook, build date 12/15. Look through the grill on the passenger side, part of the grill will lift out for the tow hook. In the rear on the driver's side remove the cover to see the receiver.

All the Corvettes has the receivers, the actual hook that screws in is optional. I'm ordering that just in case as it seems like a sensible thing to have on board.

I believe the tow hook receivers were added in late 2014 or for 2015 models. My April 2014 build has the removable grille section and rear access but no receivers.

c7 that where build before 12/14 did not have tow hooks. Then in 2015 I was told only z06 & z51 had them, Then when GS came out also had then. But reg base model in 2015 did not have them. Robert
