Default Side Skirts

Noob here. Picking up my 3LT GS coupe at local dealer next Tuesday. Local VT film vendors are more of sign graphics guys rather than PPF guys. I'm not sure I want to be the first Corvette they do. I saw 2 guys do 3 cars in one day at MacMulkin - Jesse said they always send the same guys from Automotive Elegance and work on the 3rd floor. But that's a 2.5 / 3 hour drive. Local vert owner suggested splash guards and side skirts while I ponder. I've ordered larger front/rear splash guards but see side skirts offered from $2000 installed, $1450 uninstalled to use existing front/rear screws and pop rivets, $450 uninstalled to use same screws but 3M tape in between. What's up with that? Lot of cars do afix body parts with only tape... I'm undecided, but lower cost is good. What do non-noobs say?

Your 3LT GS will come with side skirts as standard equipment.

3/4 length not full rocker extensions.. there's a difference between aero stage II and just the standard GS/Z06 3/4 rocker extensions.

Just make sure you have the front edge of the brake ducts wrapped, a mistake i made when i had my xpel installed. i did the upper rear quarters and didn't do the brake ducts. they are taking a beating even with the splash guards i installed low and wide. without the rocker extensions either 3/4 or full length (ie. aero stage II) brake ducts getting creamed are inevitable.

I thought i was "ok" but i just completed a simple 100mi round trip on the parkway and upon returning i noticed the chipping on the front edge of the ducts both sides. only 1200mi. so now i have some work to do.
