There is a positive terminal on the rear of the fuse box. You have to flip up a plastic covering to reach it (pull toward the window and up).
Edit: As Texhawk said, just checked the owners manual and it's recommended you jump the battery directly. It's located under the carpet in the rear of the car.

I think the owners manual recommends you only jump start the car at the battery terminals, which can be a pain to get to without tearing up the carpet.
The fuse box on the battery has a high amp fuse on the power cable to the starter..Other positive connections may not be able to handle the load.

If you carefully lift the passenger side rear carpet you will see the battery under the Styrofoam cover.
When I changed my battery I had to remove the right side trim panel to keep from tearing the carpet and scratching up the rear panel.
The carpet is so stiff, the edges actually scratch the panels if not protected.
I was looking under the hood. I could remove the fuse cover, but the cover over the +cable just wouldn't come off. What a pita. I wanted to jump start my truck. I ended up using my daughter-in-law's dodge. It also had the battery in the back, but it had two handy posts under the hood that were "purpose designed" for jumping. I guess you have to pay a third of the price to get good engineering.

You just have to know which direction to push the cover to release the latch. Maybe GM made it difficult to get to for a reason. If you are not supposed to use it to jump start the Corvette, maybe you are not supposed to use it to jump another car. Consider yourself lucky.
The 12+V on the fuse box in the engine bay does NOT have a large enough cable to the back battery to handle a high amp pull to start the car. If you jump the car, do it at the battery in the rear. I have a convertible and my carpet comes out quite easily and is not a problem to get at the battery.
