Water based paint on C7?
I was talking to my oldest son who is a custom car painter on the east coast of fl. He was telling me about his new paint booth that is all run by a computer. Plus he said that with that system he can match any color.
I ask if he could match my long beach red. He also ask if the c-7 used water based paint.
So thats my question Do our C-7s have water base paint on them?

You are correct. The first part of 1981 were built in St Louis and used the lacquer based paint. When they moved to Bowling Green they went to the water based paint.
