Free advice...
Don't try and use the wiper fluid while driving topless.
Thought I would be safe at 50mph. Nope. LOL. I did however have the presence of mind to put the windows up first. Still got hit by the run back along the top corners.

That's funny OP, happened to me in a rented vert once.
I will also admit that I too emptied out the reservoir and even flushed it with distilled water. Haven't used it at all in my 13 Camaro, why would I need it in the vette?

My vette is my DD. When I'm at work, it'll be parked near the ATL airport for up to 10 days.
I know...I know, some of you are shaking your head. I bought this baby to drive it.
Anyway, it's always dirty after a few days parked...drove home with the top off one day and gave myself a bit of spritsing. LOL

We don't need no stinking wipers!!!
I NEVER use my wiper blades on any of the last 9 of 14 Corvettes I've owned when I started showing the car. I really do think it will melt in the rain! 
That being the case, I never use the windshield washer...what can I say...Corvettes bring out the crazy in all of us one way or another I guess! LOL
