Lol, I spent way too much time this morning looking at LED solutions to this issue and don't see a simple solution. If you mount even the smallest LED at the front underside of the shelf and managed to run the USB wire to the back, drilled a cutout in the shelf for it to plug in and found an easy to access switch (which I've yet to find the perfect one) it would only illuminate the front contents unless you had next to nothing in the bottom area. A simple LED keychain light or pen light would make the most sense if you have that much crap in there. I'm done spending anymore time on this. Time to move on to the next OCD project.
