Default Escort iX or Max 360?

Radar talk once again, I have the 9500ix, and it's been awesome but the radar on cars these days( blind side front and rear radar) is really making this unit rather annoying. I'm ready to move the 9500 to my truck and get something new for the vette. Those 2 are tops on my list. Is the max 360 to big and heavy for it's own good (something I have heard) Front/rear signal seems like a big plus, knowing which direction the potential LEO is.

Yes, the Max 360 is the way to go. I replaced all my V1 and 9500's with the Max 360. It is rather bulky but with a Blendmount, no issues. There is a newer Max 360 CI but the price is ridiculous.

I have the Max 360 and it works quite well. The Escort app that links the RD to the Cloud is a battery hog. The phone must be plugged in when using this app.

I do find that the app gives me a lot of false alarms for radar it thinks is still there from hours before.

Love my Max 360! it does the trick, and the directional arrows are a really nice add. lots of people complain about the size, but I have no issues with it.

The size of the MAx 360 doesn't bother me. I don't carry a bunch around. Might be great if it was smaller and had a higher quality appearing case, but it is fine.

While the Max 360 will slightly outperform the IX, the real word difference probably doesn't matter much. Both will warn you well ahead of time. As you know, you get the rear antenna, the arrows, and whatever future benefits the digital processing may or may not come with the 360. It all comes down to are the extra features of the 360 worth the money to you. Think you'll be happy with either.

understood, but the comparison between the v1 and max is still relevant, so just ignore the redline parts

Redline is still a superior radar detector with better range than most if not all, just doesn't have GPS or Bluetooth.
