Default Ordered a new '18 GS

I stopped at my dealer a few weeks ago for my Spring oil change to my '14 Stingray, while waiting for the oil change to be completed, I walked outside and looked at the '17 GS's on the lot. I was impressed with the wide body look and it reminded me of my previous '10 GS that I had traded in for my '14 three years ago.
After a few days of negotiations I decided to order an '18 vert in Watkins Gray, with 3LT, A8, red calipers, Black sueded seats and steering wheel, and GS Heritage package with Carbon hash marks. Only concern is will it be built and shipped prior to the extensive factory shutdown this summer, should know more this Tuesday.
This is what it will look like.

I had an order for 2018 GS Admiral Blue 3LT keyed in the week prior to GM accepting orders for the 2018 . I waited 2 weeks or so after the first ordering date to hear that my order was accepted, and another week to hear that it has a 6/5/17 TPW.

So three weeks from ordering was the magic number to get a TPW. I think the cut off date is mid June. I went with the highest volume dealer in New York State to ensure deliver.

Good luck with your order!!

Good luck! You're going to love the C7 GS. I traded in my 13 GS and picked up a 17 GS on May 12th. Mine is black but Watkins Grey is a fantastic color.
