The whole auto industry is down, but they have been down the whole year so I don't know if that is enough incentive for GM to offer more discounts. But it could be.
I suspect the biggest discounts will be starting up in September running trough the end of the year. So people looking for the best deal would probably be better waiting a few extra months at the penalty of not being able to drive their new toy during peak Corvette season.

I appreciate your confidence! Truthfully, I've learned to not speculate on future incentives because I have absolutely zero information to base a guess on. Anything I'd say would have no more credibility than a guess made by anyone else here. I look forward to finding out on June 1st like everyone else!

Debating on pulling the trigger on a Z06 tomorrow. I really wish I could get a feeling if loyalty is coming back. I already get GMS pricing so the 10% tags does nothing for me. The dealer is being aggressive with my trade in value because it's the end of month, but I'd hate to pass up on 2k in loyalty if it's going to be here by Thursday.

I am with you on debating pulling trigger. If I remember right, last year there was loyalty in May, but not June (for Z06). So in theory prices will go up. I would think the 10% bonus gives some money back to the dealer so they have more flexibility to sell the car at reduced price, but I don't know. One of them on my watch list already went up today. MSRP $94k, price has been $84k, today it went to $92K. I am too busy at work so probably just sit out and keep putting miles on the GS.

I don't know about lucky but I know I had no choice. Dealer told me to wait for June when my car came in last Friday because they will have more money to give me off my car. It is what it is! We have already established a price so if dealer told me to wait for June I am waiting for June! I am picking up the car this Thursday so the deal is done after that.

You just said something that I don't understand. You already locked in the price or the price could be lower due to more dealer money in June?

Wow nice dealer ! I don't know any dealers who lock in a sale and then give a better price... actually insurance companies are allowed to do just the opposite with workers comp... they can decide you didn't pay enough last year and you get rebilled for the difference... what a country...

I mean, they can't get worse than may.

I,m not sure what dealer money is, but even tho I have made my deal on an 18 on order, I will still get any rebates in place at time of delivery.

In most cases, when the dealer locks in a price on an ordered vehicle that price is exclusive of any incentives that may be in place at the time of delivery. The agreed upon price is then effectively reduced by the amount of those incentives. A dealer won't figure in any incentives when the order is placed because they have no way of knowing what incentives will be in place at the time of delivery.
