If I were going to buy that car to display it, I would definitely own it, it's gorgeous.
i can't say that I would buy it to DD it, it's too "much".

Button replaced Alonzo as Mclarens/Hondas driver for Monaco and for once, the cars are actually performing decently because of the fact that high speed isn't much of an asset in Monaco. Alonzo could have possibly done pretty well.
As for Indy, he did well in qualifying but blamed a boost issue on not being more competitive for pole. He should do very well on race day if the car performs, but it's also funny if he'll never escape Honda power plant issues no matter where he races...

You know what's funny about this?

Thanx for the info, guys...I really wondered about that.
FWIW, I don't know jack-squat about Indy racing (obviously ).
Today's Monaco GP was boring (IMO).
Button looked like an amateur when he speared Wehrlein.
Interestingly, Alonso mentioned today fighting for 5th, 6th, 7th, etc. just doesn't do much for him.
I think he really relished his Indy experience.
Dude, you must have a crystal ball or something!

He passed on Monaco (also this weekend) to run Indy. Should be a great race weekend w/ Indy and Monaco (a Ferrari front row). Have not see that in a while w/ MB dominating.

Why is it that Toyota dominates Nascar, and Honda dominates Indy...what happened to Ford and Chevy? Are they now populated by the youngsters who grew up playing sandlot after the soccer mom's changed it from "Winning!", to "Everybody gets a trophy and nobody keeps score", so nobody feels bad after the game?
And Chevy changing from the LS7 7 liter 590hp motor (with street version for Z06 vettes) to a 5.5 liter 491 hp engine for the corvette racers (that you can't buy for the street corvette) because the 7 liter so totally dominated it's GT1 class that the Classifying organization was afraid that it would lose (paying) crowd attendance because no one would come to see the 427 vettes win another race? When did the world start dumbing down and penalizing excellence into obsolescence?

Last year, I and my 14 crystal red C7 vert were one of 24 Vette verts that did a drivers introduction lap before the MavTV Indycar 500 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. I got to see the two white C7 pace cars up close. The paint scheme, very similar to the pace car in this thread, was gorgeous. BTW, I got to meet Mario Andretti and Jay Leno before the race. Mario had just taken Jay around the track for five laps in the two seat IndyCar. Jay got out and told Mario "You scared the s*ht out of me!
