Default Rear marker lights

Went to BOWLING GREEN for the C4 gathering,did the factory tour and noticed on 2018 corvettes when the head and marker lamps were on the bottom of rear side marker lamps were clear and bright when the car was in reverse like the C4,great addition and back to the future.would love to had photo but as you know no cameras allowed.

I think he was referring to the C4's side mounted back up lights that share the housing of the rear marker lights. Evidently he noticed additional lighting, on the 2018 C7s, that are located in the rear side marker light housing assemblies that illuminate in conjunction with the backup lights when the transmission is in reverse gear.
