Default Which is correct??

#1
#2
Finally got the front sway bar almost in place. Have questions regarding the installation of the end links. Which of the two pics is the correct way to install them, or does it matter? Thanks for any help.

I personally think that #1 is correct but just wanted to make sure. I guess no one has these endlinks from the looks of it.
