Not sure if this is a CarPlay issue or a problem with the infotainment system software.

With an iPhone 6 Plus (IOS 10.3.2) plugged into center console USB (phone is also paired via Bluetooth)...

I have a Sirius XM station playing (Classic Rewind) and Waze running on the iPhone.

Whenever the Waze lady talks (which is a lot) that audio cuts off Sirius XM which is expected. But when she stops talking the audio input goes to the iPhone music library, not back to Sirius XM.

I tried it with AM radio. Same thing.

Anyone know how to stop this annoying behavior?

I'd like my manually selected audio input to always take precedence.

Yea, I have seen this too and it has forced me to play music from my phone whenever I'm using the Waze audio (which I don't do a ton).

BTW, you can adjust the volume of the Waze audio prompts in the app.

My 2016 base does the same thing. It's like whenever the phone wants to make a noise, the audio source goes away and does not come back. I have to retune to what I was listening to. I just got the car and am taking it in to be serviced next week for that and a few other little things. I feel sure a software update will fix it.
