Default The "real" pace car

Just took a walk up and down the grid. Here's the actual pace car that will lead the field to the start and keep them packed during caution periods. I watched this thing practice yesterday and it sounds filthy going down the main straight. Not sure that will come across on TV. Love this color scheme.

Was hoping for a side shot...Are the side skirts painted red, or just the leading edge?

Thanks for sharing the pics, they turned out great. Can you get the VIN for us for future reference?

Very cool-looking pace car but you woulda' thought they coulda' run the rear camera cable inside the rear fascia for a finished look.

I was wondering if they were going to use a Viper as this year's pace car since this is the swan song year for it.

What's the horizontal black stripe in the middle of the rear window? Not use to seeing a C7 without a blacked-out rear window.

Chrome wheels. Woo woo.

Curious....just how filthy does a mild mannered 460 horsepower engine sound?

Nice picture and like looking at the new Indy pace cars but I have never been a Indy pace car Corvette fan mostly because of all the stickers. At least GM is not trying to sell us this version.

I immediately thought of the 2004 C5 version when I saw your pictures!

Sharp looking car and very patriotic color scheme. Well done.

It would have been awesome if they would have used the PDR to record the parade lap and pace lap.
