Installing weatherstripping on lift off roof panel
Has anyone ever put weatherstripping on a removable roof panel. Unsure of how it fastens to the roof panel

When I bought my new 2016 corvette I negotiated a transparent roof panel to come with the car. The dealership shipped me the car with the clear roof panel in the cargo area. They did not check to see they ordered the right panel which they didn't, they sent me the panel with no latches or weather strip. I have received all the parts which installing latches was straight forward. The weather strip are the parts I cannot figure how to install. The dealership has been no help to me and this has been going on for over 6 months. I love the car but I would like to be enjoying my transparent rood panel.

Got any pictures of the top, where the weather stripping goes, and the bottom side of the weather stripping. We might be able to give an educated guess with the pictures.

You would think that a dealer’s body shop would be able to install the weatherstripping on the roof panel. If not, check with another dealer. Or even with a good body shop in your area. That is unless you want to install it yourself.

If it doesn't snap in place, I'd imagine they use a bead of that black GM adhesive to hold it in place.
