Glad they are ok, but having said that, have to chuckle a bit when someone's ambition exceeds their talent. Hope the kid learns his lesson this time and doesn't need a second smack-down.

But you would think with his means he would have at least tried it. If he is anything like me he will get addicted. Once you see what the car and what you are capable of (and not capable of) trying things on the street will start to seem silly. Turns out it is not as easy as Chris Harris makes it look.
I ran out of talent plenty of times. I exited the track backwards at 50+mph a month ago at Inde. Spun the car around a bunch on track on accident. But I also held a few solid drifts through corners and it was a good learning day. My 2 friends and I were the only ones on the entire track that day. Chances of me getting hurt were low, and the chances of me hurting someone else was almost nonexistent.

Everyone please don't believe this ****, that is not vehicle virgins's car. If you don't know who he is, he is a youtuber that owns a green 2015 lamborgini huracan, a 2005 bmw m5 and a mercedes s class, HE DOES NOT OWN A CORVETTE!!!!! And also at the time of the accident he wasn't even in the state in which it happened. corvette forum get your facts strainght or don't post bullshit that could have effects on someone's carreer, btw the one that owns a yellow corvette is speedstreet 717, he also wasn't the one in the accident but at least if you want to make it seem somewhat realistic at least use the name of a youtuber that actually owns a corvette. STOP INCRIMINATING RANDOM PEOPLE FOR NO REASON!!!!!

disclaimer: I am 56 years young and have owned my share of 70's muscle cars, 80-90's various fast cars for the time; I was guilty of driving fast, sometimes too fast for the conditions or traffic, in spite of my good judgment, or so I thought...I slowed down since going to the track a couple of times a year.
That being said, to those who are blaming the kid, how about maybe he was just cruising on this road at say, 55 in a 45 mph zone and a deer came out of nowhere and he lost control trying to avoid it ? if you it that big of a tree head on at 40-50 mph, the damage would most probably look like that...
