I'm having issues with my heater...It works just fine with the top down...not stowed in trunk.
If you turn on the heater using the Manual Controls it blows 150 degree heat out the upper vents when the dial is turned to 89 degrees.
Once you push the but to open/stow Rag-Top the heater starts to blow at 90 degrees.
I live in Ohio and we only get about 45 nice days of weather...Why can't I run the heater with the top open...makes no sense to me.
If you turn the dial to HI it will blow very hot air (150 degrees) all day long with the top in the open position...but once you turn it down to 89 degrees it starts blowing air at 90 degrees...a 60 degree difference.

Heater in manual mode works perfect with top down/closed.
If I set the heater at 89 degrees it blows air at 150 degrees through the upper vents.
The second I push the button to open/stow the rag-top the heater starts blowing air at 90 degrees...Why can't I run the heater with the top open/stowed away in trunk. I live in Ohio and we have cold weather all but 45 days per year...Please call me for more details..
