I know, a million threads on this already, but I finally got my X-Pipe installed.
Got an extended lunch at work and our garage manager (we do our own service on company cars) put it up on the hoist and put it on for me. I mostly stood around watched, and drank coffee LOL.
As said by lots of forum members, it took about an hour from box open too car on the ground.
I had the chance to do a couple quick runs around the airport service road. I didn't notice a lot of difference at normal acceleration --- BUT AT WOT -- It sounds AWESOME!!!
Quick thoughts; it works for me, not much difference at cruise (track mode), but when you drop the hammer, a significant difference to my ear.
Had a new Corsa Sport system installed and didn't want to spend what might have amounted to an extra 6 - 7 bills including install, kinda wish I had but I'll "suffer"....
Thanks for the update. I agree on the Borla vs. Corsa if you don't plan on the axle back system. Two of the best low cost mods are breath in (Intake) and breath out (exhaust/X-pipe).
