My 0-60 Time
Im a newbie to this site...
So I ran my 2015 LT1 using the onboard timer...
My best 0-60 speed is 5.1....
From a dead stop, just mashing down on accelerator...Automatic...
obviously no where close to 3.8...
anyone have any thoughts? I was just on normal asphalt....
Thanks in advance...

Launch at a little over 1,000 RPM. Roll into the gas, tires warmed up, and tire pressure in the high 20s.

What altitude are you at? Mash the throttle harder to the point of wheel spin. You might get a better time with a little wheel spin.

Hmm. It shouldn't be hard to get under 5 sec. Maybe your spinning too much. What is the condition of the tires? I roll into the throttle slowly maybe 1/2 sec to full throttle. I have gotten 4.1 and I am at 2400 feet.

I get regular 4.2 in warm weather on dry pavement with warm tires (at sea level). I haven't been able to do better than that..... try it with a full tank of gas! You need more weight over the rear tires to be able to launch harder.
