Default Driving Modes Vibrations

Good Afternoon, I am new and here and interested to know if anyone has experienced what I experienced just a couple hours ago. I went for a nice long ride today in my '14 Corvette Z51...during our ride I encountered a pretty large saw cut in the road that came on suddenly and no way to avoid due to being the whole width of the road. Anyways, the saw cut was approximately 12" wide by 4-6" deep. I hit it somewhere between 45-55 mph, like I said no time to slow for it. As soon as the car came out of it, I mean as soon as...instataneously...the car shook & vibrated violently, and wouldnot calm down. I was in Sport mode at the time. I did get it to calm down by going into Touring mode, but it was still there. I continued on, because I was about 50-60miles from home. I had stopped the car at one point, shut it off, let it sit for a while (thinking it could reset itself or something) started on my way again, starting in Touring mode, it was hard to tell if it was still there, so I proceeded to change modes, first to Sport, then to Track...OMG...When I went into Sport, the shake became worse, steering column, suspension, seemed like everything, then proceeded to into Track, and Holy Hell, couldn't hold on to the Steering wheel...I'm genuinely nervous at this point. I went back into Touring mode, and within 30 seconds or so the car smoothed out considerably, but still there, very tolerable. Has anyone ever had this happen? If so, could you give me some ideas on what it could be, other than an expensive trip to the dealer...Thanks in advance...Mike

The most obvious would be a bent wheel or suspension damage but this should be felt in all driving modes.

It is all modes...the stiffer the mode the worse and more violent it becomes

Sorry that happened. Get it to a good Frt.-End Guy and have him check it. Need to get it up in the air. Good Luck!
