Default Quick Jake

Was helping the wife with some craft projects last night. When she walked out of the room, I jumped on the Cricut machine real quick and 5 minutes later had myself some Jake stickers. 😂 I just used her extra vinyl (at least I told myself it was "extra" &#128521

Better hope she doesn't jump on here and find you out! Maybe think about selling some of those and make it up to her with the profits.

Looks great!

Probably not gonna start a side business but if anyone is interested in some, PM me. I can easily do them in different colors or sizes. I could figure out what I would need to cover costs (cause I'm sure my wife would kill me if I keep stealing her supplies &#128514 and let individuals know based on what they want. (Note to mods, not attempting to solicit business here and I hope this offer doesn't violate forum rules. Just a member offering to help out other members add some coolness to their lives).

First two I added were on the hatch sides. They are 1/8 inch thick painted carbon flash to match all the other carbon flash on the car; side skirts, spitter, fender brake cooling ducts etc.

Like the white top fender grills but just needed something more in the area! Those two Jakes started me off, now have 16!
Fits the Grand Sport racing heritage.

Lots of Jakes!

I also have the jake center caps, wheel caps, jake stinger stripe, jake floor mats and rear cargo map and...

I'm thinking of an exterior 'sticker' but not sure where to place it.

^^^ Hmm, spots for some more Jakes!

Have to do what the wife does with a painting. She can have it sitting on a table or even the floor for a month or more to see how she likes it as she passes by until I get the request to put it on the wall!

Before I stuck my first "two Jakes" on the sides of the rear hatch with the 3M adhesive tape they came with, I rolled a small piece of Scotch tape and temporarily placed them and looked from various angles!

I'm afraid it's compulsive! But costs a lot less than the carbon fiber on my 2014 C7! (Although you have some that cost a bit!) Started with an OEM visible CF roof, then added CF side skirts (to stop rocks hitting the rocker panels,) after a few months thought it needed a CF splitter. Then decided what the heck might as well add a CF hood vent. Then the chrome grill bar looked out of place and with all that investment in CF was not about to use tape so bought a thin real CF cover- expensive but all CF matched and I'm sure was a help when I sold the car to buy the Grand Sport.

However, decided I was NOT going to start with any CF!

Hey neogenesis, thanks again for sending the stickers. They look great on my Grand Sport!

I bet you could easily sell them on eBay, were you so inclined.

Here are a couple photos showing how they look on my Vette. I oriented them differently than you did, just to see how they look. I think they look good both ways!
