Hope you like these photos of my 2016 LT2. I replaced all the black vents with body color (Shark Grey) from RPI. Not done is the top rear fender vents, it seems these are the FIRST parts assembled on the car and a real pain to remove. Also, any car with a dry sump engine cannot replace the side vents - there is something in the way. Lucky for me I got the base model

PS: Flat black badges by myself. Here's the original car with chrome wheels, colored side markers and stingrays (noted) on the side. Not for me but respect others' opinions. Thanks.

Just let me say, I think they look GREAT!! I'm a huge fan, really reduces the contrast elements.

It looks great on silvers and greys, but I'm not a fan of this look on the brighter colors like red or yellow or blue. Those colors need the black contrast otherwise it just looks out of place.

I think the black looked better, better contrast. Now everything just blends in and doesn't stand out.

I paid for the option on my LBR and think it looks a lot better than dabs of black all over. There's plenty of contrast with the wheels and top (a vert.) How much did it cost to do yourself?

It looked better with the Black trim.

The body color trim looks kinda strange & awkward... Looks sorta like a car that was damaged and poorly repainted by not masking over the trim... Some low end body shops will do shotty "rush job" repairs by not taking the time to correctly mask the vehicle trim.

At first glance (with body color trim) I would think the car had damage repairs or a repaint... But, its your car and if you like it that's all that matters.

I tend to agree, but the OP's car still looks good with things color coordinated.

Default Flat Lighting for Flat Contrast

Overcast today so the flat lighting brought out the flat contrast on this car. Note the grey calipers, another part of the whole. Appreciate ALL the comments. Thank you!

PS: I really like the original base 5-spoke wheels too. At my age (62) I think wheels should be aluminum colored (OK maybe magnesium) and 5 spokes was always the best design.

I like the body color vent mods, they blend in nicely & the black contrasting vent color is one of the reasons I don't like the C7
