see this a lot - people who don't own anything don't take are of anything they don't know the value - look at those on Section 8 housing when they leave (not all but most) the house is trashed - look at the parks in these areas - after a year they are trashed - need to enforce if you are able bodied and don't work k- don't eat - sleep outside - those sleeping outside that are lazy, etc. does not bother me - those that want help and trying to get a job - let's give them a temp place to clean up, etc. until on their feet.

Had the same thing. Parked in covered parking garage on the very last space. Came out and someone threw a can of sport drink or something across the hood of my TR Z51. Can still on hood. I thought it wouldn't ruin the paint, but washed right off. I would hate to walk up on someone doing that.
Many years ago, my friends and I were walking through a hotel garage late at night when we came across a beautiful RX-7.
Something seemed very wrong about it, though. Upon closer inspection, we realized that ribbons of paint were coming off of the car down to the bare metal.
Someone had spilled brake fluid or something similar all over the roof and hood.
We realized we were at a crime scene and booked it. That was then, today I would have called the police and reported it.
I cannot even imagine what would lead someone to do something like this...

Yeah sucks. Long time back I watched this guy with his gf battle it out over a parking spot in a lot at the shore nighttime. The 3 girls got the spot and walked to the club then this guy over the objections of his gf walked around the girls black brand new Lexus and keyed the entire car. Every panel.
unfortunately for him I was there..... the look on his dumb face when he turned around with me and two co-workers standing there. Cost him 4k in damages and an arrest record. Was it worth it? So dumb.
the father of the girl called me and thanked me. Nice guy and I watched the whole thing go down. It was an equal draw to the spot. Had the 22yo moron done the gentlemanly thing maybe the complete opposite would have happened. Karma.

This crappy behavior isn't new, I had the same problem with my 67 Vette in 68, only they egged my car. The egg shells made circular cut marks in the paint but the worst damage was from the egg that hit the windshield, then flowed down into the heater air intake. Every time I had to use the heater the stench of rotten eggs invaded the cockpit.
