I have had a C5 a C6 and now have a 2017 Admiral Blue GS, with A8 in 3lt trim. I love my car. Over the years i have been on the Corvette Forum and off and one thing that never seems to change is the drama people have about their Corvettes. Have mine been perfect - NO - But they have been more reliable than any other car I have ever owned and have been more fun to drive. My C6 I had for 13 years and it was running perfectly until the day I traded it in. Now I have the GS and its freaking beautiful.Runs like a race car - handles amazingly well, feels connected. I have never driven the car in Drive because I love the paddle shifter and I don't miss my manual c5 or c6 at all. Is the palnt perfect - Probably not but it looks pretty damned good to me. I may never have a tq tube problem or A8 problem but if I do I trust that Connell Chevrolet will fix it correctly under warranty. Their service department is better than the BMW dealer my wife takes her car to. Just wanted to say that this forum is full of complainers and I know many Corvette owners like myself that have had extremely positive Vette experiences and good dealer experiences. Sorry for those that have bad experiences and I don't doubt it happens but its not universal.
The longer you own your C7 the more you'll love it. I especially like that you went with the silver painted wheels. Of all the factory wheels ever offered on the Corvette, the ones on your car are the best ever IMO.
I like the silver painted wheels the best out of all the Corvette wheel choices. The rotors are black, the aero are all Carbon Flash - I changed the spats to carbon flash - It is a subtle beauty with that rich looking Kalahari interior - Im so obsessed with the car its cray cray!!!!
As soon as the plant starts back up I will get serious about buying one. How was your experience with Connell? Why didn't you go through one of the big three forum dealers? Any advice you can provide would be welcome. Thank you.

I had a friend who bought his FRC C5 from Connel back in 2000. He raved about them and their service department. I had them install some Bilstein shocks back then and they did a very professional job. When I decided I wanted my C7 Grand Sport I started looking at the big three forum dealers and nobody had the exact car I wanted. When I saw that Connel had the exact car I would have ordered in stock I rushed to see it and met the dealers Corvette specialist there, Greg Crigger No bullshit, no hype, no games- he matched what the forum dealers were doing on their pricing at the time and gave me what I considered a fair trade in and a killer financing package. This took under 2 hours - no transporting the car across the Usa - no hassles registering the car like my last out of state Corvette purchase. Next day he met me at the dealership and introduced my service writer and they treat me like I bought a million dollar Ferrari there. Feel free to message me if you have any more questions.
Best transaction I have ever had buying a car. Period!!!!!
