Corvette C7 Change Color Starter Button?
My 2016 had a black starter button. My 17 has a Chrome button that looks like ****. Does anyone know how hard it would be with instructions to change my starter button to red. Or does anyone know if they have an overlay that I could just stick over the new one. I've searched and searched but cannot find anything on this information. thanks

Someone correct me if I am wrong but 2016's changed from a black to a brushed aluminum start button.

You have to tear the whole dash apart to change it. It's weird your 16 had a black one, mine came with silver.

I have to admit, the design of the C7 starter button seems out of place with the rest of the dash. I would have preferred a round button that fit the same design of the infotainment and AC *****. I'm just waiting for the painted text to start wearing off the face of the button...

yours is silver like mine.2017 is silver.
what I'm looking for is an overlay that I could stick over the front of the button. I see they have Botton replacements but it's too big of a job to replace the whole thing

As long as it starts when I push the button in I don't care what GM gives us!

guys I could get custom stickers made for somewhere around $5 shipped a piece, with tons of different designs such as the jake skull. the issue is they wouldn't cover the little beveled edges...would you guys be interested?

I would be interested but they would have to fit the Button perfectly forming to the beveled edges. But I wouldn't know how many people would be interested. This is the photo of how it is in my jeep SRT. It would be neat if the Corvettes look something like this.
