What are your personal thoughts on top 5 modifications to the C7 (Base, GS, Z06) should be?
1. MGW Short Throw Shifter
2. Lower on stock bolts
3. Borla Off road X-Pipe

2. Low dust brake pads, no one like dirty wheels
3. Side skirts & mud flaps, no one like rock chips

A $500-$600 radar detector is a good investment. I have two of them and the newest one paid itself out in one day. Here in California speeding tickets are at least $250.

Just a few I would add--you have a good list already!
1. PPF. Rock chips really bug me, so I always go with PPF. I don't do a full wrap, just some judicious locations.
2. V1. On my 4th version already!
3. If it's a Vert, SmartTop is the best mod yet!

Seriously, the best mod for me was a Z06 grille.
Adding some sound proofing also more driving friendly.
With my Z51 with MSR, I was all set on day 1.

1.) If you don't list the MGW shifter, you must drive an automatic. (or you just don't know any better)
2.) lower on stock bolts. Otherwise, it looks like a pregnant cat tiptoeing around.
3.) CAGS eliminator for those of us with manual shift cars.
4.) Vitesse throttle controller. It's just way better. that's why...
5.) get rid of the airbag warning labels on the visors.
That's my list of "must do's". The biggest is #1. It's something that vastly improves every drive.
