Button Under HUD Controls - ??

I have two buttons under my HUD controls - one opens the hatch and I can't figure out the other. Have tried RTFM but I must be dumb, couldn't find this. Any help appreciated. Thanks folks.

Turns off the Intrustion alarm. Pretty cool how you did that pic.

It turns on and off your Intrusion Detection System. Interior Motion sensor.

I have wondered myself since on other cars I have had it would turned off the reverse senors that beeped when getting close to an object. This for some reason does nothing LOL...

It also disables the car's motion sensor so that when you go on a ferry, or if you are getting towed, it doesn't set the alarm off. So it actually serves TWO purposes.

Also used for disabling the motion sensor before jacking the car up for any reason.
